Castles and manor homes, indicative of English countryside as we all imagine it. Leeds Castle is one of those architectural gems, but the outside is not always what catches your eye. A servant's stair, perhaps? Or a shortcut to the kitchens? I do not know, but the combination of the stone, window and rail caught my attention. I hope it catches you eye, too.
Multiple photos and hand drawn elements are used in each print, depending on the subject and complexity of the image. Individual portions are carefully extracted from the original photo, manipulated, stripped to its basic line form and combined with other design elements to create the final image. The final result has the illusion of being an etching or lithograph.
